| As most of you know, Louisiana is comprised of vast saltwater and freshwater marshes, major river deltas, and floodlands. In fact, Louisiana ranks 5th in the United States for total water area. Most of the coastal marshes across the southern part of the state are extremely shallow and consist of heavy vegetation. It is safe to say that the world's best facility for testing shallow water fishing equipment is in our own backyard. With the constant need to access these shallow waters for commercial and recreational use, the GO-DEVIL Engine, since its inception, has been used by Louisiana fishermen for access to their livelihood or place of recreational fishing. Through the recent expansion of the GO-DEVIL facilities and completion of our 24' open-backed press brake, GO-DEVIL has introduced several new products to the fishing market that are designed to match the famous GO-DEVIL Engines. Each of these new products has many years of ideas from commercial and recreation fishing experience in the design. In 2002, the new line of GO-DEVIL Fishing Boats and GO-DEVIL Crawfishing Boats were released. The new GO-DEVIL Fishing Boat is perfect for fishing in coastal regions where a low draft, smooth bottom boat is an absolute must. When equipped with a poling platform, the Fishing Boat is the perfect boat for sight fishing for redfish in shallow water. The new GO-DEVIL Crawfishing Boat is the ideal boat for commercial crawfishing. |
